LAHORE:A woman reportedly lost her life due to torture inflicted by her in-laws in the limits of Sabzazar police. The victim's parents accused her husband, brother-in-law, and other members of her in-laws of being responsible for her death.

According to details, Ramsha, a resident of Shad Bagh, had been married for five years. Her husband lived abroad, and during his absence, her in-laws allegedly subjected her to physical and mental abuse. Due to this mistreatment, Ramsha had moved back to her parents’ house along with her two children. Recently, her husband persuaded her to return to his family home. However, on the night of the incident, Ramsha's parents received a call from her in-laws, informing them that she had fallen down the stairs and died. When the family reached the hospital, they found her body with visible marks of torture, contradicting the claims of an accidental death. The bereaved family demanded justice. They alleged that, despite clear evidence of foul play, the police have yet to register a case.
