LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari has stated that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is setting an example for other provincial chief ministers, bringing back an era of development, prosperity, and peace to Punjab.
Initiatives such as the Kisan Card, electric bikes, scholarships, and the ‘Dhee Rani Program’ are progressing successfully in the province.
Maryam Nawaz has launched a series of public welfare projects from Central Punjab to Southern Punjab. New roads are being built across the province, and electric buses have been introduced in Punjab.
Bokhari stressed that significant initiatives like the Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar scheme and the provision of free cancer medicines are key features of Maryam Nawaz’s leadership.
Azma criticized the previous government, stating that Punjab’s resources were exploited for four years under the rule of Gogi, Pinky, and the captain. However, Maryam Nawaz is now addressing the injustices that were inflicted upon the people of Punjab during those years. She highlighted that Maryam Nawaz is introducing new initiatives for every sector of society.
‘The opposition is more focused on tarnishing Maryam Nawaz’s image rather than showcasing their own performance. Maryam Nawaz’s increasing popularity among the youth is her performance and dedication,’ she added.
