Rangers and police, in a joint intelligence-based operation, arrested a highly wanted terrorist, Allah Khan alias Abdullah Mehsud, in Karachi’s Ittehad Town on Friday.
The arrested individual, affiliated with a banned militant group, was found in possession of weapons and ammunition. According to a Rangers spokesperson, Khan was associated with the Mufti Noor Wali alias Abu Asim group and had joined the group’s commander for South Waziristan, Ameer Mehsud, in 2008. He was involved in numerous terrorist activities in South Waziristan, including religious riots in Kurram Agency. Following military operations against terrorists in Waziristan, Khan relocated to Karachi.
The spokesperson also revealed that Khan’s close relatives, including Commander Abdullah Shah and terrorist Shah Malook, are also wanted for their involvement in several terrorist activities across Pakistan.
