HYDERABAD: A decommissioned passenger plane reached the Civil Aviation Academy here on Friday after a 48-hour journey from Karachi.

The 350-seater Boeing 737 aircraft has been brought to Hyderabad by road for civil aviation training. It was stopped near the Malir toll plaza on Thursday as it did not have an NOC to be brought through the motorway.

After the NOC was issued, the plane was dispatched on a 40-wheeler trailer from Malir late on Thursday night and it reached Hyderabad on Friday morning. The senior assistant director logistics of a private transport company, Moazzam Qazi, told the media that another aircraft will be brought to Hyderabad next week.
