The Sindh government has imposed a ban on the use of plastic water bottles in all the offices under its jurisdiction.

A directive states that all government offices must serve water in jugs and glasses. According to a circular issued by the provincial government’s services, general administrative and coordination department on Friday, the CM expressed concern during a cabinet meeting held on August 8, 2024, regarding the environmental impact of disposing of mineral water plastic bottles.
