The Crime Reporters Association (CRA), in collaboration with the Karachi Press Club (KPC) and Rescue 1122, recently organised a workshop on emergency first aid and rescue training where journalists were trained in providing first aid during emergency situations.
The workshop, which was held at the KPC, specifically targeted journalists, particularly crime reporters, and was conducted by Rescue 1122. The training covered essential skills such as performing CPR during a heart attack, controlling bleeding in the event of gunshot wounds or injuries, and providing first aid in burn cases and other emergencies.
KPC Secretary Shoaib Ahmed, Crime Reporters Association President Kashif Hashmi, Secretary Rehan Chishti, and Rescue 1122 spokesperson Hassan addressed the participants during the session.
