Speakers, including APHC Convenor Mir Tahir Masood and ex-convenor Syed Yousaf Nasim paid tributes to the martyrs of Kashmir freedom movement and said their sacrifices were a source of energy and inspiration for the people of Kashmir to take forward their struggle to its logical conclusion i.e. freedom from Indian clutches. They said Kashmiris would not accept any solution of Kashmir issue imposed on them rather, they would continue their struggle for their UN-mandated right to self-determination.

APHC leaders urged the international community and the human rights organisations to pay attention to the atrocities being unleashed on Kashmiris by the Indian occupation forces.

They called on the government of Pakistan to also use its influence on the friendly countries to exert diplomatic pressure on New Delhi to withdraw draconian laws and rein in its forces from trampling the basic rights of Kashmiris.
