The meeting was attended by the Chief Executive Officer of Karachi Water Sewerage Corporation, Asadullah Khan; the Mayor's Political Affairs Spokesperson, Karamullah Waqasi; and other leaders and elected representatives, including Jumman Darwan, Dil Muhammad, and Asif Jan.

Officials discussed the water supply system, road conditions, and other issues in District West. Various union committee chairmen informed the Mayor about the problems faced in their respective areas and provided suggestions for their resolution.

Wahab emphasised that the water shortage in Karachi was a longstanding issue, and steps were being taken rapidly to resolve it. Thanks to the special interest and attention of the PPP chairman, several projects had been initiated to improve the water supply system in Karachi and increase water resources, which were expected to yield beneficial results in the future.

He assured that the issues identified by the elected local representatives of District West would be thoroughly considered, and all possible resources would be utilised to resolve them. The Sindh government was providing full cooperation in this regard, with provincial resources and funds allocated for water supply projects to be completed within the stipulated time.

Wahab also highlighted that road construction and repair work in District West have been prioritised, and ongoing construction projects would be completed as soon as possible. The new water line from Hub Dam would not only benefit District West but also provide additional water to District Central and District Keamari, helping to resolve issues for residents in these districts as well.
