JAC urges govt to be empathic to resolve crises

LAHORE:The Joint Action Committee on Sunday organised a protest outside the Lahore Press Club, demanding an immediate resolution to the issues faced by the region, highlighting the increasing hatred and oppressive behavior of the ruling elite.

During the protest, speakers stressed that a peaceful and just resolution is essential for the stability and prosperity of the region. They urged the government to adopt a more inclusive and empathetic stance towards the situation in Balochistan.

The protesters called for the recognition of their rights and urged the government to engage in meaningful negotiations with Baloch leaders to address the grievances the people. They highlighted the conflict in Kurram. They clarified that it was not merely a matter of land but involved multiple factors.
