Phone tapping: Plea sent to LHC CJ for larger bench

Judge says important legal points had been raised in the petition related to the fundamental rights

LAHORE: Justice Farooq Haider of the Lahore High Court has sent a petition against permission of phone tapping to sensitive agencies to the Chief Justice for a larger bench.

In a written order, the judge said that important legal points had been raised in the petition related to the fundamental rights of citizens and recommended forming a larger bench to hear the case.
