Rs46bn allocated for 44 P&D Board schemes

LAHORE:The Punjab government has allocated Rs46 billion, including foreign aid of Rs22.284 billion for 44 Planning & Development Board schemes for the fiscal year 24-25.


Out of the allocated amount, Rs27 billion has been specified for 28 ongoing development schemes, Rs18.600 billion for 14 new schemes and Rs400 million for two other development schemes.

As per details Rs300.651 million has been allocated for three ongoing schemes of Agency for Barani Areas Development (ABAD), Rs830 million for one ongoing scheme of block allocation, Rs150.148 billion for two ongoing schemes of Bureau of Statistics (BOS), Rs518. 921 billion for seven ongoing schemes of Cholistan Development Authority, Rs24.970 billion for 12 ongoing Regular Schemes, Rs300 million for one ongoing scheme of SDGs and Rs30 million for two ongoing schemes of Punjab Economic Research Institute (PERI).
