Three murder accused abducted by rivals

FAISALABAD: Three murder accused, including a man and his two sons, were abducted by their rivals here.
According to the FIR, the murder accused, Akbar Ali of Chak 65/RB and his sons Shahid and Nadeem were going to a court when their rival, Liaqat group, allegedly abducted them.
About 18 months ago, Sajjad Ahmad of Liaqat group was murdered over a monetary issue and a case was registered against Subhan, an absconder, Shahid, Nadeem and Akbar. Police have registered a case against 12 accused belonging to Liaqat group, including Liaqat Ali, M Shafiq and M Younis, and started investigation.
Two killed as ambulance hits bike

FAISALABAD: Two motorcyclists were killed in an accident on Faisalabad-Jhang Road near Painsra.
Muhammad Shafi and Shabbir Ahmad, residents of Chak 66/JB, were coming to Faisalabad when a speeding ambulance collided with their motorcycle. As a result, one of the motorcyclists was killed on the spot while the other injured seriously. He was shifted to the Allied Hospital where he succumbed to injuries. Police have registered a case against the ambulance driver.

Liaqat Ali, a resident of Chak 51/JB, ended his life by jumping into a canal on Sargodha Road. On information, a Rescue 1122 team reached the spot and recovered his body near Dingro Bridge.
