LAHORE : The University of Okara (UO) observed World Food Safety Day with a seminar, an awareness walk, a product development competition and a poster competition, organised by the Department of Food Science and Technology and Department of Human Nutrition & Dietetics.
According to a press release, the patron-in-chief of all the activities was the UO’s Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Javaid Akhtar, while the Pro VC Prof Dr Muhammad Wajid, chaired the seminar.
