Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are part of yet another battle as rivals.

Musk’s xAI and Zuckerberg’s Meta are fighting to partner with AI startup Character.AI, which is valued at $1 billion.

Both the companies were in talks with Character.AI and AI initiatives along with SpaceX. While xAl intends to make a "gigafactory of compute" for the latest version of Grok chatbot, Meta released Threads to compete with xAI.

In a bidding war to partner with an AI startup Character.AI, Musk’s xAI and Zuckerberg’s Meta are locked, said a report.

Users are allowed to create artificial intelligence characters that act as chatbots by the startup.

The Financial Times, while citing individuals with knowledge of the situation, reported that both companies have held talks with Character.AI about working together on initiatives. This includes pre-training as well as developing AI models.

When a SpaceX rocket exploded and destroyed a Facebook satellite, the two billionaires have been in a public battle since 2016.

Moreover, recently, Musk also invited Zuckerberg, a jiu-jitsu champion, to a cage match but that didn't take place.
