The seminar took place in the UET Transportation Seminar Hall and saw a significant turnout of faculty members and students. Director PHEC, Dr Tanveer Qasim, attended the seminar as the guest speaker. In his address, he emphasised that preventing the dissemination of blasphemous content on social media was a collective responsibility. He urged that parents, teachers, and all members of society must play their role in protecting values, culture, and ethics.

Dr Tanveer Qasim highlighted the need for raising awareness in society through individual and collective efforts. He stressed the importance of stringent measures against content that contravenes Islamic values, the Constitution of Pakistan, and PEMRA regulations.

At the end of the seminar, Dean Faculty of Civil Engineering Prof Dr Khalid Farooq, presented an honorary shield to Dr Tanveer Qasim. This seminar was part of the ongoing anti-religious hatred campaign by the PHEC, aimed at promoting tolerance and mutual respect within educational institutions.
