Akshay Kumar reflects on incident teaching 'significance of humility'

Akshay Kumar shared an incident from Bangkok where he inadvertently collided with a bike ridden by an RTO officer.

During an interview with cricketer Shikhar Dhawan on his talk show, the 56-year-old actor revealed a significant incident that left a lasting impression on him, emphasizing the importance of humility.

The Welcome star recounted, "I remember an incident that taught me the significance of humility and bowing down. When you humble yourself, you gain the resilience to navigate through any challenge or obstacle."

"Once, while driving, I accidentally collided with the bike of an RTO officer while making a turn, causing both of us to fall. Scared, I immediately apologized, bowing to him. The officer assisted me in getting my bike and helmet up and calmly advised me to drive slowly and carefully," he added.

Akshay, who last appeared in the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan also recalled how his father noticed his disinterest in studies and arranged for him to move to Bangkok at a young age.

The Bhagam Bhag actor expressed his gratitude for the respectful embrace of Indian culture in Bangkok, describing it as both heartening and exquisite.

Professionally, Akshay will next be seen in the film Jolly LLB 3 alongside Arshad Warsi.
