Two wanted gang war operatives were arrested during a police operation in the Old Golimar area on Tuesday.
According to police, the suspects have been identified as Akram alias Ustad and Bilal alias Arshad. The police also claimed to have recovered weapons from their possession. These individuals had become symbols of terror in Old Golimar and were wanted by the police for various serious crimes.
The police reported that Akram Ustad was the frontman for notorious gang war leader Kashif Dada and oversaw Kashif Dada’s drug dens in Old Golimar. Bilal was involved in target killings, attacks on rivals, and supplying weapons to gang members for Kashif Dada’s group. The suspects faced multiple serious charges, with eight cases registered against Akram Ustad and three against Bilal.
The police stated that these suspects were also involved in several police encounters, murders, attempted murders, terrorism, and drug trafficking. Cases have been registered, and further investigations are underway.
