Islamabad : The first Haj and Umrah Exhibition 2024 began at Allama Iqbal Auditorium of Faisal Masjid on Saturday.
The two-day exhibition has been organised by Maul Islamia in collaboration with the Daawa Academy of International Islamic University during which a training session for intending pilgrims was also organized. The event began with a recitation from Holy Quraan by Dr. Qari Abdul Rehman Al Bazai followed by recitation of Naat and Hamd by Khawaja Sultan Qamar who is Shariah Advisor of Riphah University. Professior Dr. Ziaul Haq apprised participants of his experiences during the performance of Haj and Umrah. Later, Maulana Salahuddin Ayubi delivered a detailed speech on Haj. Dr. Asadullah presented an introduction of Maul Islamia while Executive Director of organisation Merajuddin Saif talked about the aims and objectives of the exhibition.
During the training session, the organizers used the latest technology and used models of Harmain. A large of intending pilgrims and others turned up at the exhibition and desired that such events should be organised regularly.
