A firefighter who was injured in the suicide attack on foreigners in Landhi a few days ago has appealed to the government to bear the expenses of his medical treatment.
A passerby, Salman, a firefighter by profession, was wounded in the suicide bombing on Japanese nationals in Landhi’s Mansehra Colony. "On April 19, I suffered injuries to one eye and intestines in the incident," he said in a video statement.
He said he was passing through Landhi's Mansehra Colony as per routine when the suicide attack took place. “Suddenly, there was a powerful explosion and I fell to the ground.”
He said he worked as a firefighter in a private company and after the incident, his initial treatment was carried out at Jinnah
Postgraduate Medical
Centre.
He appealed to the government to bear expenses for his further treatment.
