Pakistanis have great role in Dubai’s development, says UAE consul general

United Arab Emirates Consul General in Karachi Bakheet Ateeq Al-Remeithi has said that Pakistanis have a great role in the development of Dubai.

He was addressing the inauguration ceremony of an Arabic language centre in the government vocational training institute in the Buffer Zone area. The Arabic language Centre was inaugurated by Consul General Bakheet Ateeq Al- Remeithi.

The centre was established in the Government Vocational Training Institute with the cooperation of the UAE and the Sindh Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority. The consul general said many Pakistanis were working in different cities of the UAE. He said that earlier people used to take an Arabic language course and go to the UAE for employment, but then this trend decreased. He said more than seven million Pakistanis were working in Gulf countries.

He further said people faced problems with regard to language and could not even tell their ailments to doctors. The consul general expressed the hope that students would learn Arabic and get better opportunities of jobs. He said that Pakistanis would be given jobs on a preferential basis in every sector and students of the vocational centre would also be called to the UAE visa centre soon. He urged the students not to believe anti-national videos on social media and delete them.
