Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori said this on Thursday while talking to the media at the Hyderabad Press Club. He said he had come to Hyderabad with a big purpose as in the economic crisis where people were deceiving the youth, he was starting an IT courses programme in the city.

The governor remarked that such courses would also be offered in Sukkur, Larkana and Nawabshah. He explained that the project cost at least Rs500 million that would financially empower the youth.

Tessori said Pakistan was not going above 3 billion dollars in exports. He lamented that we did not have expertise to compete with India in the international market. He said an IT university in Hyderabad was going to be established soon. He remarked that information technology was also part of the SIFC being headed by the army chief.

Responding to questions, he said the IT courses would be a great opportunity for the unemployed youth. He also invited the youth of the Katcha area to take the IT courses. Tessori explained that he had initiated the IT courses project without seeking money from the government. “Even in Hyderabad, the government will not spend a single rupee on this project. This work is being done on behalf of the Governor House and donors,” he said.

The governor said no ordinance should come to the governor when the elected assembly was there. He also expressed his determination for a hospital with a free ICU facility in Latifabad No 2. The governor also met Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan assembly members and other notables of Hyderabad at the press club.
