LAHORE: Dry and hot weather was observed in the City here on Monday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions during the next 24 hours.
The officials said that continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country. They predicted that mainly dry and partly cloudy weather was expected in most parts of the country while, rain-wind/thunderstorm was likely at isolated places in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during night.
Monday's maximum temperature was recorded at Mithi and Chhor where mercury reached 40°C while in Lahore it was 33°C and minimum was 17.8°C.
