MULTAN: Deputy Commissioner Rizwan Qadir has said the Punjab government has vowed to make the province polio-free.
In this regard, a 3-day national polio campaign organized by the district administration will start from March 25. The detection of two polio cases in Balochistan is alarming, however, no polio positive case could be detected from Multan sewage samples.

Qadir said more than one million children would be vaccinated during the house-to-house campaign. More than 35 mobile teams will administer polio drops in the field while camps will be established at every hospital, dispensary, bus stand and railway station.
