Fire damages garments factory

A fire broke out at a garment factory in the Site Super Highway area on Wednesday. Fire tenders from the fire brigade department immediately reached the factory and launched efforts to extinguish the fire. According to the fire brigade department, the fire broke out in the warehouse of the factory where finished goods were stored. The firefighting brigade successfully extinguished the fire, and firefighters also used snorkels to gain control over the blaze.

The fire was confined to the fourth floor of the factory, according to police, who added that the factory’s scrap and piles of clothes were affected by the fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties or significant financial losses reported in the incident.
