Govt asked to post teachers at schools

LANDIKOTAL: The local government representatives here on Sunday asked the education authorities to post teaching staff at schools in Bazaar Zakhakhel and other areas in Upper Bara in Khyber district.

Speaking to journalists here, Village Council Chairman Khabar Jan Afridi said a number of government-run schools lacked basic facilities and requested the relevant authorities to provide teaching staff.

He said there were more than 20 state-run schools in Bazaar Zakhakhel that lacked teaching staff.The LG representative said the lack of teachers affected the studies of the students. Khabar Jan Afridi said teachers of science subjects should be posted at the schools, demanding action against the teachers, who were not performing duty.
