Pakistani pilgrims should increase the prestige of their country in Saudi Arabia and prove that they are a civilized nation by their behaviour, and they should pray for the stability and security of the country in the field of Arafat, he said this while addressing a Haj training workshop held at the Haji Camp in Karachi on Saturday.

Ahmed told the Haj pilgrims that Haj is the name of a journey to reach Allah from oneself. In the Haj training workshops, special arrangements have been made for Haj rituals as well as administrative training. Training is mandatory for all Haj pilgrims.

This year, pilgrims are being given more and better facilities than in the past. For the first time in history, the Haj package has been significantly reduced compared to last year, said the minister.

A mobile App has been launched for pilgrims which will be very useful during the Haj journey. For the first time, Ahmed said, Haj pilgrims will be given free mobile phone sims, briefcases and abayas for women by the government. For women it will be necessary to wear this abaya.

At the end of his address, the minister said that after returning from Haj, there should be a clear change in a person’s actions and personality because now he claims to be close to Allah.
