ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a private company for bringing about advancement in one window operation and expedite service delivery to citizens of the federal capital.

The civic body, by signing MoU with MS Tech, wanted to improve delivery of services through digitalization with use of latest technology.

The CDA will introduce an application to make it possible online payment of property tax, water charges, installment of plots and other payments.

According to MoU, a mobile application would also be introduced enabling citizens register their complaints and keep track of the same through notifications and messages from CDA’s concerned directorates.

Speaking on the occasion, Member Technology and Digitization CDA said that signing of MoU reflects commitment of the authority to bring about advancements and transparency in its working and provision of civic facilities.
