The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Sunday arrested two passengers at the Jinnah International Airport who arrived from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan allegedly through fake passports.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the suspects arrived in Pakistan from Saudi Arabia on emergency passports, and the initial investigations revealed that those emergency passports were fake.
The suspects also failed to provide identity cards and identification documentsm the spokesperson said, adding that there was also no travel record showing the suspects' departure from abroad. The suspects were identified as Irfan and Abdur Rahim. For further investigations into their nationality and additional legal action, they were transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle.
