LAHORE:Water outflows from major reservoirs have been increased to meet irrigation demand of various provinces.
According to the position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoir levels and the barrages recorded on Friday is as under: Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 13,800 cusecs and Outflows 35,000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 8,400 cusecs and Outflows 8,400 cusecs, Khairabad Bridge: Inflows 12,500 cusecs and Outflow 12,500, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 4,900 cusecs and Outflows 35,000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 5,200 cusecs and Outflows Nil cusecs. Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 43,100 cusecs and Outflows 40,100 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows: 34,500 cusecs and Outflows 42,000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 41,700 cusecs and Outflows 36,400 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 37,800 cusecs and Outflows 33,900 cusecs Sukkur: Inflows 32,700 cusecs and Outflows 5,000 cusecs Kotri: Inflows 6,500 cusecs and Outflows Nil cusecs Trimmu: Inflows 15,700 cusecs and Outflow 7,700 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 11,300 cusecs and Outflows 7,200 cusecs.
