ISLAMABAD: An independent candidate from PP-89 Bhakkar has joined the Pakistan Peoples Party.
The announcement came after his meeting with Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PPP Women Wing President Faryal Talpur at the Zardari House Islamabad on Thursday. Amjad Khawar, Shahid Hasan and Hayat Mehmood were present.
Meanwhile, former Punjab governor Chaudhry Sarwar also held a meeting with Bilawal at the Zardari House. The political situation of the country was discussed in the meeting.
