A high-level delegation of officers of the 39th Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC) of the National Institute of Management Government of Pakistan visited the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) head office on Thursday.
According to a spokesperson for the water corporation, a delegation of 38 officers from departments attached to federal, provincial, and autonomous bodies have been visiting various departments of the country under a special training programme.
The purpose of the visit was to enhance the officers' capacity to take on more responsibility and increase their professional skills, and allow the delegation to study the administrative structure of various departments and economic conditions of the country. During the visit, the delegation reviewed and inspected the Hydrants Management Center of the KWSC. The spokesperson said the delegation appreciated the efforts of the KWSC chief executive officer (CEO) for the establishment of Hydrants Management Center.
KWSC CEO Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed gave a briefing to the delegation on the reforms to be made in the water corporation including the Hydrants Management Center. He said the water corporation should perform its services day and night for the betterment of the city and it was going to create a complaint management portal soon for the convenience of the citizens.
