ISLAMABAD: Young son of Quetta-based Awami National Party (ANP) leader was gunned down here on wee hours of Friday, police said.
The police have registered first information report (FIR) against the people involved in the killing, saying that he was killed on a dispute of purchase of a car.
Mohammad Maroof Khan, son of Quttab Khan, lodged a complaint with the Shalimar Police Station, saying that he left for Islamabad along with his younger brother Bilawar Khan to settle a dispute of a vehicle purchased from Mian Usama Shah based in Islamabad, adding that the vehicle was found tempered when examined from vehicle examiner.
The complainant said that the controversy developed when a jirga failed to reach any conclusion about the issue.
