LAHORE: Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police Salman Chaudhry stated that the number of Motorway police officers will be increased, and the newly-recruited personnel will undergo training before being assigned to the new motorways.
He said while visiting the NH&MP Training College after assuming the charge as IG. The Commandant Training College, DIG Syed Hashmat Kamal, Deputy Commandant Imdad Ullah, and officers were also present on the occasion. IG Salman Chaudhry said the professional capacity of the training college is a top priority. He said the importance of the best staff for the Motorway Police Training College. Additionally, he emphasised that the professional training of human resources would be conducted according to international standards. On this occasion, Commandant Motorway Police Training College DIG Syed Hashmat Kamal briefed the IG about the training and development work at college. IG Salman Chaudhry also visited the memorial of martyrs. He laid flowers at the memorial and prayed for the elevation of the ranks of martyrs.
