Bashir Memon discusses alliance prospects with Qadir Magsi

Hyderabad: The Sindh Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president, Bashir Memon, on Thursday called on Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STP) Chairman Dr Qadir Magsi at the latter’s residence in Hyderabad.

The two political leaders discussed the current political situation of Sindh and the country during the meeting. Dr Magsi told Memon that he had met PML-N Supreme Leader Nawaz Sharif during his visit to London last year. He added that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had been continuously ruling Sindh for the past 15 years and it ruined the province instead of developing it.

The STP chief said Sindh was rich with all various resources, including oil and minerals, but the people of Sindh were daily worried about getting square meal. Speaking on the occasion, the Sindh PML-N president said the PML-N had learned a lot from past experiences.

He added that Nawaz would soon visit the province and the PML-N would try to solve the basic problems of the province on a priority basis. The two leaders also discussing the prospects of alliance and seat adjustments in the upcoming elections.

STP central leaders Haider Shahani, Dr Somar Mangrio, Qadir Chana, Jam Shaukat Abro, Grand Democratic Alliance leader Jalal Shah Jamot and others were also present during the meeting.
