LAHORE:A 25-year-old man died in a road accident in the Manga Mandi area on Monday. Reportedly, the victim identified as Hafiz Nauman was riding a bike and going somewhere. As he reached Multan Road, his bike collided with a tractor trolley. The victim received serious injuries and died. His body was moved to morgue.
Two murder suspects arrested
Nishter Colony investigations police have arrested a man and his sister-in-law for killing a couple and dumping their bodies in chemical drums at roadside few weeks back. The arrested suspects were identified as Ali Hassan and Kalsoom. The victim Farzana and Imran had contracted a love marriage.
The suspects were annoyed at it. On the day of the incident, when the victims were at their home in Sheikhupura, the accused made them unconscious by giving them sleeping pills. When the victims fell unconscious, they beat them up to death with iron rods. Later, they packed their bodies in chemical drums and dumped these at a roadside at Kamahan road.
