Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) Chairman Dr Shahid Munir inaugurated the first international two-day conference on pharmaceutical and life sciences organised by Gulab Devi
Educational Complex on Tuesday. Addressing the moot, Dr Shahid said life sciences had a major role in public health.
He said the role of life sciences in addressing global challenges such as pandemics could not be overlooked and without life sciences, we could not diagnose and discover diseases.
