Two people, including the groom’s father, were injured in celebratory firing at a wedding ceremony in the Saeedabad area.
According to police, two casualties with gunshot wounds were brought to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital for medical treatment, where they were identified as 55-year-old Tauqeer and 37-year-old Ifran Qadir.
Following the incident, police took five people into custody from the crime scene, while the person who conducted the firing was yet to be arrested. An FIR of the incident was registered and further investigation was underway.
