Sardar Muqeem Khan, a provincial assembly member of thePakistan Peoples Party (PPP),passed away on Sunday after a protracted illness.
An official of the Chief Minister's House said that he remained admitted at a private hospital in the metropolis, and passed away yesterday.
Condolences over his death were issued by the party leadership and other colleagues, with AssemblySpeaker Agha Siraj Khan Durrani hailing Khoso asan experienced politician who had rendered great services for legislation in the provincial assembly.
