The arrests followed the registration of a robbery case at the Saeedabad police station. According to retired police inspector Bashir Hussain, 10 to 11 individuals, dressed in plain clothes, entered his house, and one of them identified himself as CTD Garden officer Nazeer. According to Hussain, the suspects wearing simple clothes physically assaulted his son Amir. The police officers then proceeded to the upper rooms and brutally attacked his daughters.

During the search, the police officers looted Rs200,000 in cash, four tolas of gold jewellery and other valuable items from the house. The police personnel kept asking for Bashir Hussain’s son Qamar, who was not present at home. The police officers took away 50 rounds of a 9mm pistol kept in the house.

CTD personnel Saadat Marwat and Imran have been arrested, while the third official, Nazeer, is yet to be apprehended.
