This letter refers to the editorial ‘Avenfield verdict’ (Nov 30). In a landmark judgment, the Islamabad High Court has acquitted Nawaz Sharif without the latter providing the money trail for the purchase of the Avenfield apartments or proving the authenticity of the Qatari letter. This was the basis for indicting Nawaz Sharif in the first place.
