KARACHI: The Sindh government has formed a 10-member committee under the Karachi commissioner to conduct a survey of the Bahria Town Karachi’s land following orders of the Supreme Court.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh chief secretary, the committee includes the directors general of the Malir Development Authority and the Sindh Building Control Authority, the deputy commissioners of Malir and Jamshoro districts, the chief conservator of the Forest and Wildlife Department, representatives of Land Utilization Department and Survey of Pakistan, and the director for survey and settlement at Sindh Board of Revenue. The committee will also present images and Google Map’s topography of the land in its report.
