ISLAMABAD: A local court of Islamabad on Friday approved the pre-arrest bail of former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry till November 13 in the case of violation of Section 144.
The court approved the bail of accused in exchange for a surety bond of Rs10,000.
According to the details, the hearing was held in the District and Sessions Court Islamabad. Chaudhry Fawad Hussain appeared in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Supra along with his lawyer.
Lawyer Safai Qamar Inayat requested the court to approve the bail application of Fawad Chaudhry. The court approved the pre-arrest bail of Fawad Chaudhry till November 13 in exchange for a surety bond of Rs10,000.
The court also summoned the prosecutor and the investigating officer along with the records for arguments on the next hearing.
It should be noted that a case of violation of Section 144 was registered against Fawad Chaudhry at the Abpara Police Station. —Online
