UAE airline celebrates 38th anniversary

ISLAMABAD: Emirates Airlines celebrated its 38th anniversary on Wednesday.

Emirates Airlines was founded in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by engineers, technicians and pilots from Pakistan, who had been previously working with the PIA.

Emirates has been the leading airlines in the world since several years and first priority of every passenger from the region. The airlines has its hub in Dubai.

The independent aviation experts are regretting about the fate of the PIA that is virtually at the verge of closure.

Ambassador of the UAE Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem AlZaabi in his brief X message said, “Today we celebrate 38th anniversary of the launch of Emirates Airlines and its first flight in the history of Emirates from Dubai to Karachi on October 25, 1985 which established an unprecedented upward growth path in the air transport industry.”

The ambassador yet in another X message shared four pictures including one flying plane and others with pilot late Captain (R) Fazal Ghani of the Emirates who flew the first flight from Dubai to Karachi.
