MULTAN: The Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has initiated massive corruption inquiries against Pakistan Tehreek Insaf ex-MNA and a powerful real estate developer for making money in the name of public development, ACE officials disclosed on Saturday.
On the orders of Punjab ACE Director General Sohail Zafar Chatta, the Multan region ACE has started probe against PTI ex-MNA from Vehari Tahir Iqbal, Khalil Ahmad Khosa ex-XEN Local Government Multan, Anwar Ahmed ex-assistant engineer Local Government Vehari, Maqsood Ahmed sub-engineer Local Government Vehari M/S Ashfaq Ahmed and contractor Zia Butha. The Vehari ACE circle office has summoned PTI ex-MNA Tahir Iqbal for May 8. In another corruption probe the Multan region ACE has initiated an inquiry against Ali Asghar Gurmani Chief Executive Officer at Multan Gulberg Colony, Zain Shah Director Gulberg Colony Multan and officers and officials of MDA Multan etc.
The ACE assistant director investigation has summoned Ali Asghar Gormani for May 8.
