KARACHI: Sindh Governor has said that no criminal including those involved in Baldia Factory fire will be spared.
Governor Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan was speaking at a ceremony on Thursday.
No one should remain in doubt all will face the accountability, he warned, adding that those who burnt 300 people alive will be hanged. 'I ask DG Rangers Bilal Akbar and IG Police A.D. Khawaja to hang all the culprits publicly.'
He said the government has been taking action against elements behind China cutting in the city.
The governor said law and order situation has improved in the province as a result of successful targeted operation and the provincial government is committed to eliminate criminals and terrorists to ensure peace.
He lauded performance of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) for ensuring peace in the city.
Aiming indirectly at Mustafa Kamal, Governor Ebad said whoever is found guilty of crime will be punished whether he has a small grocery shop or opened up a political shop in a posh area.
The governor said Niamatullah Khan was an honest and visionary mayor. 'His tenure as the city mayor and his master plans played a significant role in rapid development of Karachi, however, his successors disappointed the city.'
He criticized former nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal without mentioning his name who remained mayor of Karachi from 2005 to 2010.
He advised local bodies representatives to follow Naimatullah Khan's example in serving the masses.
