KARACHI: Police on Tuesday conducted search operations across various parts in the city and took into custody 34 persons.
Police conducted a search operation in Shahrah-e-Faisal and Alfalah areas to arrest three suspects. They also conducted a door-to-door search operation in Peerabad's Kunwari colony as well as Qasba colony and took into custody 30 suspects. Weapons were also seized from the arrested persons.
Two suspects were taken into custody when police also raided Moosa Colony, Yousuf Plaza and Khunda Goth areas.
In Malir's various areas, law enforcement agencies took into custody two persons after conducting a search operation.
A shooting incident had occurred earlier during the day, in which four armed assailants on two motorcycles had opened fire on two persons in a vehicle and injured them.
