Bomb kills five Afghans, say officials

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan: A roadside bomb attack in southern Afghanistan on Friday killed five civilians, including children, local authorities said.The explosion struck their vehicle while they were travelling from Nawa district to Lashkar Gah, Helmand’s provincial capital.“Two children and three men were killed in a bomb attack,” Helmand’s provincial police spokesman, Farid Ahmad Farhang said.
