“The Sindh home minister has taken notice of the incident and Jail Superintendent Murtaza Shaikh has been suspended from service, while Head Constable Zafarullah, PC Hashmat Ali Kolachi and PC Safdar Hussain have been taken into custody,” said the Sindh IG Prisons.
An FIR has also been registered and an inquiry initiated on the home minister’s orders, added Mangan.
