KARACHI: The tradition to praise those who do good has ended now, lamented Mula Bux Chandio, advisor on information for Sindh on Thursday. He said Jang Group has set up a healthy tradition by distributing joy among millions of people.
He was speaking as chief guest at the prize distribution cermoney of Jang World Cup Cricket Hangama. Jang Group's Syed Sarmad Ali, Star Marketing Chairman Wasiq Naeem, MD Ikhlaq Ahmed, and Karachi Arts Council former secretary Ahmad Shah and a big number of prize winners attended the moot.
In cooperation with Star Marketing, Hangama won praise in 2015. About 1.15 million Jang readers took part in the contest and won almost Rs20 million prizes. Chandio distributed cars and other prizes among the winners from all over the country.
The winners thanked the organisers and appreciated the fact that they had got 632,000 friends through this opportunity. Seven cars were distributed among the winners Thursday while thousands of gifts including motorcycles have already been dispatched to homes of the winners.
The participants said they would continue taking part in promotional activities of the Group and would continue reading Jang. Star Marketing the biggest marketing company working with the biggest media group of Pakistan, said its MD Ikhlaq Ahmed, adding that it would continue conducting such promotional programmes for Jang Group.
