The statement adds that two companions of Qari Rafiullah sustained injuries in the operation.

The Operation Shaheen 13 has been jointly launched by military police and personnel from the National Directorate of Security (NDS).Meanwhile, police have repulsed a militant attack in the Hesarak District of Nangarhar province. A statement released by the police headquarters of Nangarhar states that militants launched a coordinated attack on a number of security posts in the Hesarak District but faced a strong response by police. Group’s commander Mustafa besides two armed opponents were killed in the clash, the statement adds.
